LIN -INTRODUCTIONS-

Audio of myself reading the following passage.

-Introductions-

Lin was a medium build woman who kept her hair short and her wit sharp. Her eyes held intensity the average person wouldn’t recognize- honestly mistaken for cold and unapproachable. Her sleek muscles were hidden under her lose fitting clothing, and her attire suggested that she preferred movement over attractiveness. Her demeanor suggested she isn’t around to socialize, despite a public setting. She appeared as alone as she acted.

She sipped on her favorite drink; she doesn’t like to feel the effects of alcohol, but she fancied the taste. Her ears were open, picking up bits of conversations all around her as she searched for people’s secrets. She had been on this lively moon for more than a few days, just waiting for anything interesting to take her further into Messier 33. The need for something to happen only grew as she visited more bars, restaurants, and music venues this small moon had to offer throughout her stay here. She never remained indoors at any place long; she spent enough time alone on her ship traveling. She was far from the only carbon-based life form on the moon, but she attracted a lot of glances because as far as she could see, she was the only human. Most didn’t make it out this far.

Finding nothing in the seemingly endless crowds, she accepted defeat, and spent one last day on this distant moon, before heading out on her lonely, never-ending journey through the stars, as she fights to unlock the universes mysteries. The thought crossed her mind that no matter who a person was on the outside, everyone acted within the same guidelines morally for the public eye, this made the horrible intentions Lin searched for hard to find.

She sat on the bed of her small room as she held a small hexagonal phone in her hand. The phone only had two numbers programmed in it, and as far as she was aware no matter how far away she got from the receiver, the call would always go through. Despite her reluctance to call at the present time, she needed more money to continue traveling. The trip to this galaxy had exhausted all of her resources.

“Seek your destiny.”
